Facilities
Our School has a total floor area of approximately 2,357 square feet and is strategically located in the heart of the city at International Plaza on the fifteenth level.
The school has complete facilities to cater to all students. We have a fully equipped teaching classroom with a demo-area and projection aids is used for theory instructions and practical teachings. It has a seating capacity of 40 students.
The school stores a huge inventory of professional nail products at its premises to facilitate student's learning and business set-up.
New equipments are brought in to ensure that students are exposed to the latest technologies. The most recent equipment purchased by the school was the LED Gel Lamp Machine.
The Pink Room International Nail Academy uses the best products for training. We have selected reputable product brands from USA, Japan and Korea as sources of supply for tools and products for our teaching materials as well as to fulfil our students' need for consumables.

Council for Private Education (CPE)Established under the Private Education Act, the Council for Private Education is a statutory board empowered with the legislative power to regulate the private education sector. In addition to its role as the sectoral regulator of private education institutions, the Council facilitates capability development efforts to uplift standards in the local private education industry.
With the inception of CPE, students will be able to seek clarification on a host of questions such as:
- Is this private school registered with the Council for Private Education and does it have a good track record?
- Is my chosen course permitted?
- Is this private school EduTrust-certified?
- Are my school fees protected?

Student ContractUnder the CPE requirements, it is a mandatory that all students, both local and international, sign the Student Contract with The Pink Room International Nail Academy prior to the commencement of the course. The contract is waived for students enrolling in courses with duration less than 50 hours or 30 days.

Student should ensure that the following information has been included in the contract and is accurate:
- The duration of the course, and whether it is offered or provided on a full-time and part-time basis;
- The commencement date and end date of the course;
- Is this private school EduTrust-certified?
- The scheduled holidays, if any;
- The dates of all examinations, major assessments and assignments;
- The expected date of the release of the results of the final examination, which should not be more than three months after the completion of the final examination unless otherwise permitted by the Council for Private Education;
- The expected date of conferment of the award;
- The full names of the developer or proprietor of the course, and the person or organisation or institution conferring the award;
- The components of all fees payable by the student;
- The fee collection schedule, including any late fee payment policy; and
- The fee refund policy of the private school.
Private schools are not allowed to include clauses in the Private Education Institution-Student Contract which would allow them to make unilateral changes to the terms and conditions, or enable them to collect fees from students who have withdrawn from the course for the semesters or modules of the course which have not yet commenced.

Student Support ServiceThe Pink Room International Nail Academy provides support services to all its students and these services include:
- Orientation programme for Students.
- Assistance to Students facing difficulties adapting to the new environment.
- Provision of public transportation guide to the school.
- Advice on accommodation.
- Conducive and friendly environment for learning.
- Provision of counselling on Career opportunities.
- Advice on programs and post-graduation opportunities.
- Advice to Students on internal grievance procedures.
- Participation in community and environmental programs.
- The school provides counselling services. If you are facing problems related to your study in Singapore, please contact your School Administrator for counselling with our pastoral care counsellor.

Dispute ResolutionWe value all our students and we try our best to address any issues our students have pertaining. Should our students have any issues with their course, we will try our best to resolve the problems. Every concern raised with us will be addressed as promptly as possible. It is our policy to acknowledge your concerns and feedback within 3 working days and to resolve any issue or problem within 14 working days. If we cannot resolve the issue or problem within the stipulated timeframe, we will advise you immediately and the on-going process will be explained to you.
In the event that the Student and the school are unable to resolve a dispute in accordance with the grievance procedure referred to above, the Student and the PEI shall refer the dispute to the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) or Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb) through the CPE Student Services Centre for mediation prior to instituting any legal action or proceedings. The Student and the PEI hereby agree to such procedures and to pay such fees as the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) or Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb) may prescribe from time to time for the purpose of resolving their dispute.

Refund PolicyNotification and arrangement The Pink Room International Nail Academy will inform all of our students immediately within 3 business days:
- if the School fails, for any reason, to commence the course/programme on the course/programme commencement date;
- if the School terminates the course/programme, for any reason, prior to the course/programme commencement date;
- if the School fails, for any reason, to complete the course/programme by the course/programme completion date;
- if the School terminates the course/programme for any reason prior to the course/programme completion date; or
- the Student's Pass application is rejected by Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
The School shall, within 7 business days of notifying students in writing of abovementioned circumstances, provide the student with information and details of the alternative confirmed course/programme arrangement to allow the student to make timely and appropriate decision on the alternative arrangement.
Withdrawal for cause
Subject to the force majeure clause below, students shall be entitled to immediately withdraw from the course/programme by giving written notice to the School of his/her intention to do so if the School is in breach of any obligations under the standard PEI-Student contract or fails to perform its obligation(s) under the circumstances listed under the Notification and Arrangement section above.
Refunds for withdrawal for cause
For circumstances under the Notification and Arrangement section above, the School shall within 7 business days after notifying the student, refund to the student the entire amount of the course fees. The School shall also, as soon as practicable after receiving the student's notice of withdrawal under the Withdrawal for Cause section above, refund to the student the entire amount of the course fees.
Refunds for withdrawal without cause
Where the student withdraws from the course/programme for any reason other than withdrawal for cause (abovementioned) or force majeure (refer to below), the School shall, as soon as practicable after receiving the student's written notice of withdrawal (and in any event no more than 7 business days after receiving such notice) refund to the student the following sums (less any applicable bank administrative charges paid/payable under the FPS:

- To withdraw from the course/programme of study, a written notification from the student is required to be given to The Pink Room International Nail Academy by submitting the Request for Withdrawal Form.
- The Registration Fee is non-refundable.
- All students applying for a refund must complete the Refund Request Form and submit to the School for verification and approval.
Force Majeure
In the event that any party shall be rendered unable to carry out the whole or any part of its obligations under this Agreement for any reason beyond the control of that party, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, war, riot and any other causes of such nature, then the performance of the obligations hereunder of that party or all the parties as the case may be and as they are affected by such cause shall be excused during the continuance of any inability so caused, but such inability shall as far as possible be remedied with all reasonable despatch.
For the avoidance of doubt, this clause shall not apply to cases where:
- the School is declared to be insolvent and/or a winding-up order made or bankruptcy issued by the Singapore court against the School (or, any partner of the School if the School is a partnership); and
- the relevant authority(ies) issue(s) an order to cease and/or terminate the operations of the School, or the happening of anything of a similar nature under the laws of Singapore.

Cooling Off Period
There is a 7-working day cooling off period for our courses. If you decide not to continue with the course, please inform the School Administrator by filling up the withdrawal request form within 7 working days from the date the Student Contract is signed and we will refund 100% of the course fees back to you. The refund will be completed in line with our refund process timeframe.
