Working Professionals

Salon owners providing beauty or hair services are adding an extra service to their current menu. The school allows them to be equipped with technical knowledge and skills to handle a team of manicurist. Professionals working in beauty/ makeup/ hair salons studies nails as an additional skill. They tend to provide home services or freelance contract services to bridal studios or beauty salons.

Becoming an Educator

Students with international certifications and at least 3 years of experiences as a nail technician would be qualified to teach at our school or become an educator for a manufacturer/other beauty schools. THE PINK ROOM INTERNATIONAL NAILS ACADEMY runs a special program for students intending to become educators.

LIEW KAI LUN Nail Technician & Educator Student since 2004 Malaysian I like nails. I feel learn nails more interesting. At least learn a skill, so even not working can still do part-time or free lance. And The Pink Room International Nail Academy gives me a chance to take part in competition in KL; that is a very good experience. Can meet lots of people from same industry. Career Switch

Changing long hours shift work to a more fulfilling job: Students working long hours or shift work wanting more time with their family & friends, pick up a skill in nails. The new found technical and theoretical knowledge enables them to make a switch in terms of better quality of job fulfillment. Students with qualification for the corporate world finds time to pick up an extra skill and opened up another chapter of their lives.

	I got to find out about The Pink Room International Nail Academy through the newspaper. I was comfortable with the way they told me about the course on the phone and decide to come down for a look. I wanted to change my job environment as I was previously in retail line. It was very long hours and tiring. Learning nails is a practical skill that I can use. The nail course package I took includes a spa module that teach waxing, paraffin and spa treatments. I'm currently a nail technician now and the spa course benefits me a lot. 	I used to be a graphic artist, but I have no regret to shift line. I’m doing something that I like now. From The Pink Room International Nail Academy I learn a lot. When I working got improvement, even my boss also said that. She always said ‘You’re different with other girls, better than those who work longer than you. All teachers are always willing to share with us, especially Joe. He won’t just say I’m good, he always correct us. The school had been in the business of providing set-up and consultation services since 2003. We had given our consultation services and helped salon owners who needs to set-up a nail section of their beauty/hair salons. Step-by-step guidance were given and salon manager were attached at the salon until the owner is confident to handle on his/her own.

Consultation Package Services : The school had since focus only on providing free advice to our own students intending to start their own salons or home businesses. For in-depth consultation and salon set-up packages for a fee, do email our sister company at: salonsetup@the-pinkroom.com Consultation Package Services differ with each individual business owner needs, some items would include- : designing & setting up of the required manicure stations and pedicure stations. : setting the feel & look of the salon. : the service menu, customerizing your own spa treatments and services. : equipment and setup of tools and products. : training and equipping of staff and supervisors. : etc, etc. If there is a need for manicurist & nail technicians to be provided, it can be arranged.  A salon manager can be attached with the start-up salon until the salon is ready to operate on its own.
